Educator Brandy Butler and friends - drag performers from all over Switzerland - host a different kind of story time: DRAG STORY TIME! Children between the ages of 3 and 10 can listen to stories that deal with socially important topics in a light-hearted way such as diversity, identity and gender expression and much more. Here children are free to explore, try, or even simply decide that they like themselves just the way they are.
In Drag Queen Story Time, children meet outrageously positive queer role models while being immersed in the opportunity to explore the concept of identity, self confidence and acceptance of others.

What happens when prepare children with a more detailed understanding of the world around them? When we empower them with agency, in helping them understand that they have a voice and that it matters? How does their understanding and empathy for their fellow world citizens change when they are invited to understand what words like racism, disability and climate change truly mean?
With a playful approach, Brandy Butler playfully engages school age students to engage with their understanding of a just society. Butler provides a nurturing environment for children to feel empowered to discuss and think collectively about our society.
